What is Tapping?

Tapping therapies developed in the 1990s is based on Chinese medicine and the understanding that the body holds onto emotions if not processed properly. This can result in physical pain or illness and often trapped emotions. This can lead to detachment and overwhelm in day to day life.

I use a combination of EFT & TFT that works by tapping certain parts of the upper body and once the pattern is learned it can be used anytime anywhere it is and results are often permanent (see FAQ).

I also use NLP & experience to verbally address the emotions being felt and deepen the healing results. There is no pressure on you to know what to say or to have the emotional vocabulary, which can for some be a deterrent for traditional talking therapies. My specialism is Social Workers experiencing overwhelm and complex trauma.
